Scout is the title of an ongoing series of photographs whose genesis was captured during various location scouts and from which continues to evolve and grow throughout Lowfield’s campaign travels to this day. This series captures various landscapes and objects in their quiet and still nature prior to being momentarily transformed by the bustling attributes of “set” (i.e motorhomes, photo teams, lighting, and models). These scenes were originally intended for visual references only and likely to be tossed in archival storage boxes—never to be seen outside of their original contexts.
